WE BELIEVE God's Holy Word is revealed in the Bible, which is inerrant and divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit (I Peter 1:21; John 10:35 & 17:17).
WE BELIEVE the historical, orthodox view of the Trinity; God is revealed in three distinct but coequal and separate persons--"God the Father," "God the Son," and "God the Holy Spirit" (Luke 1:35; Ephesians 4:4-6; Mathew 28:19).
WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh and is the promised Messiah; there is no other name by which one may be saved but by Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life: No one can come to the Father but through Christ (I John 4:2; Acts 4:12; John 14:6).
WE BELIEVE that human beings are inherently evil and prior to salvation in Christ are under the power of Satan's kingdom. Human beings possess a sin nature from Adam and need a Savior: That Savior is Jesus Christ. Only Christ's blood can wash away our sin; when we accept Christ as Savior He becomes our righteousness and gives us power to live victorious lives over Satan and to overcome our sinful tendencies (Mathew 7:11; Colossians 1:13; Romans 3:23; Hebrews 9:22; I Corinthians 1:30; John 15:5).
WE BELIEVE the Sabbath is an important, biblical and often overlooked spiritual element of our faith. We also believe that Christians should make a public profession of their faith in Christ and when, if possible, get baptized in water immersion. Christians should also partake in the holy communion and not do so lightly--having a clear conscience and being cautious to repent of any sin that is displeasing to the Lord (Exodus 20:8-11; Mathew 28:19; I Peter 3:21; I Corinthians 11:20-34).
WE BELIEVE God grants all Christians spiritual gifts which differ; He gives these gifts to edify and strengthen the Body of Christ. We do not believe that speaking in tongues is a necessary evidence of salvation but we also believe tongues are biblical. Christians should develop the fruit of the Spirit, discover God's will and specific spiritual gifts for their lives, love one another, and do good works not in order to be saved but because they are saved (I Corinthians 12:4-11; Ephesians 4:7-16; Galatians 5:22-23; John 13:34).
WE BELIEVE Christians can be healed and delivered of evil spirits and infirmities and that Jesus Christ has empowered His disciples to victoriously oppose Satan's kingdom. Jesus paid a great price on the cross: foremost for our salvation (i.e., eternal life) as well as our physical and emotional healing (Luke 8:2 & 10:19; Mathew 10:8; Isaiah 53:3-5).
WE BELIEVE God chose the nation of Israel to be a light of salvation to the world; Israel is the apple of God's eye and He still has a remnant of believing Jews in the Messiah, Jesus Christ; God has mercifully grafted the wild olive branches (Gentile believers) into the natural wild olive tree (Israel), by faith; Christians are to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and bless Israel (John 4:22; Mathew 10:6; Romans 11; Psalm 122:6; Genesis 12:3).
Formed in 2012, Foundation of Grace Ministries is a 501c(3) non-profit public charity church, located in Sacramento, California. We minister to the Body of Christ with an emphasis on deliverance (or spiritual warfare). Much of our staff trained under deliverance minister Bob Hall. After he passed away in 2011, we continue to carry on the work of the deliverance ministry by the grace of God. We love to usher God’s people into His holy presence through anointed, Spirit-led worship music. We have a special place in our heart to minister to the oppressed, impoverished, or physically ill. We desire to see EVERYONE set free through the POWER of the Holy Spirit, God’s amazing grace, and through the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth!
